This one is number 2 in a series of 26 books!!! If you looked up cozy, English country side mystery, this series would be smiling up at you. I now understand what cozy mystery means and it's lovely! The story is not deep, it's easy to follow and guess, who don't it but it's some delightful to listen to. This series is what I like to call a "filler book". It's what I go to when I'm between books and what something to listen to while I drive.
All that said, is it worth a listen/read!! ABSOLUTELY!!! Each book has elements from the last, bits of character back story, flashbacks and the loveliest English phrases for moments of every day life. I love these books!!!
