KNIT ALONG INFORMATION

Welcome to the 3rd Annual I Love Books & Sock Knitting KAL!!! 

 

It’s that time again y’all!!! Time to get ready for the 3rd Annual I Love Books and Sock Knitting KAL

Here are the Details:

🧶The KAL (knit along) will run from March 1 - May 1

🧶The KAL will run exclusively on Instagram. I do realize that is a problem for those not on the platform but I do not feel comfortable with having an active Ravelry thread that I will not be able to monitor. 

🧶There are no forms to fill out or anything for you to do. Just start knitting with me on March 1, tag me in your posts/reels and use the hashtag #ilovebooksandsockknittingkal26 so I can see what you are knitting and reading and share it in my stories and on my feed!

🧶The goal is to knit socks while enjoying books, via eye or ear. Physical books, e-books and audiobooks are all welcome.

🧶This is a participatory KAL so the number of books and socks completed is up to you. There is no pressure to finish anything.

🧶All genres of books and types of socks are welcome

🧶There is no specific sock pattern for KAL. It is maker’s choice.

🧶SIPs (socks in progress) are welcome

🧶BIPs (books in progress) are welcome

🧶All yarn weights are welcome

🧶All methods of making socks are welcome.

🧶The official hashtag is #ilovebooksandsockknittingkal26

🧶Not required, but would be super fun to match your book title/genre/cover to the colorway or pattern of your sock
