For almost 50 years, the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival has brought together fiber enthusiasts, shepherds, artisans, educators, and curious newcomers for a weekend unlike any other.
Held each October at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York, the festival features hundreds of vendors, hands-on workshops, livestock exhibits, fleece competitions, demonstrations, and special events celebrating fiber arts and agriculture.
Whether you’re an experienced maker, a working shepherd, or simply looking for a unique fall tradition, there’s something here to inspire, learn, and enjoy.
