So if you haven’t figured it out by now I’m totally addicted to Pinterest.  Every night I say to myself.  Ok, I’ll just go online for a few minutes, check email, write a quick blog post (add pics later), send a quick tweet but them I see that Pinterest button on my favorites bar and the Hoover suddenly comes on.  Pinterest is the ultimate time suck but so much fun…I just give in and say why not.  Pinning away, then suddenly realizing 2 hours have gone by, it’s midnight and Kira is going to wake up at 6:15…crap….

Now while pinning is useful (having all your favorite things categorized and organized) it’s a bit pointless if you don’t at least attempt to put even a few of those ideas to some use.

I saw this idea/Pin a while ago and thought…PERFECT!!! That is exactly what I need to get all my craft supplies in order.

How happy am I?  Not only am I organized but I can FIND what I’m looking for when I need it.   That’s the closet in the guest/my sewing room).

For the observant among you, yes the door knob is missing.  One more thing on the Honey-Do List.

This is so simple, cheap and brilliant.  I can’t tell you how many times in the last week I’ve just stood in front the closet staring.

Below is my small but well used collection of rubber stamps.  I had these stored in about 3 places when first moved into the house and couldn’t ever remember which location had which stamp.

This makes me sooooo happy.

Ok, back to the fun stuff.  It’s Friday.  1,000 pardons for not having this ready for your morning coffee/tea break.  Daddy and I took Kira to the zoo.  A little family time is always a good thing.

Here we go…..

I started reading this blog before I even owned a sewing machine or rather knew how to use one.  There is so much to see, do, learn and shop for.  You could get lost in there for hours.     For all you sewists/sewers out there who are looking for some holiday inspiration, patterns, etc.  This is the place.  Have fun browsing!

All I have to say is Pinterest.   This may be the best recipe yet!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!! Nobody call me this weekend I’ll be too busy eating one of these…One-Pan Skillet Cookie.  I don’t think yum can cover this one.

A Travel Sewing Kit (aka: a needle book) Its super long but full of all the wonderful details that I always want and have to go to 3 to 5 places to find.  I’ve already started one. (pictures to come).  Hope you give it try.  And if you do please send me some pictures.  I especially love the velcro holder for your thread…so clever.   Who doesn’t love these?

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

This going to be quick and dirty yall.   I’m knitting feverishly on Kira’ s sweater for Rhinebeck tomorrow and have very little time to wax poetic.  So here we go…

This very talented lady was teaching at the Sewing Summit this past weekend.  What I would have given…

I plan on eating as many of these as I can at the Sheep and Wool festival this weekend without throwing up.   My best friend May (who is now a fellow Pinterest addict) found a recipe for these to be baked not fried….That only cuts about 10 calories….

Ann,  the awesome lady I took my first quilting class with, if you’re reading this.  This is what I want to make and why I’m dying for a lesson.  Help…I’m so in love with this quilt….

I hope you are once again as inspired as I am to sew, quilt, bake, create…do whatever makes you happy.  Have a great weekend everyone.

And if you have a moment and you’re a Pinner, go show my friend, May,  some love.  She has an amazing eye for things and has only 1 follower, me…
