I finally finished that baby quilt I was working on….and I love it!!  So simple and so sweet.. And just in time to welcome October.  The temperature has already dropped around here and the need to snuggle under somewhere warm is great.

Some may say I cheated with the single panel and simple border but I wanted to try straight lines to quilt it and wanted it done quickly.  It wasn’t that quick but I learned a lot…

Details:  1 & 1/2 yds of fabric for the top, 1/2 yd for the border, 3 yds for the back, 1/2 yd for the binding .  Warm and Natural Batting.  Quilt to your hearts desire.

Now this is not for my little one but just wait until you see the little pumpkin who’ll be wrapped up in it.  Now I just have to get it away from Kira.  My girl loves quilts & blankets… When she saw it last night she said “Awww, so beauful mummy…beauful blanket…cover me (as she hurled herself onto her bed), cover me.” When I did she signed over and over again….then closed her eyes.

My heart just swelled…

Nice way to end a day and start a new month…
