I know it’s a bit late but I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We decided to spend Easter with the grandparents, where we were all spoiled with good food, an adorable Easter basket and lots of love.
The basket (filled with books, games and an adorable “ducky”) were a gift from Gma (that’s what Kira calls Chris’s mom) and while it’s cute it’s not that functional for a day out and about to enjoy this amazing and much appreciated spring weather. So mummy hit the sewing machine again. But not without a quick surf on the internet where I found the perfect tutorial.
Ok, can you say cute? Actually I don’t think that even covers how sweet this little drawstring backpack really is. I found the fabric at Hartsdale Fabrics a while ago and was saving it. A perfect match I’d say.
I’d say that sums up my girl…
Now of course I couldn’t make just one. These little bags are like Doritos
There is Kira’s little buddy Joseph sporting a matching boy’s version. The two of them get together every Tuesday for a play date and are inseparable.
I can’t wait to see them in the park together, carrying their own snacks and sunscreen in their brand-spanking new, matching backpacks.
Happy spring everyone and hope you had a great weekend.
