So my best friend May was in town this past weekend (another belated birthday celebration…I know this is the never-ending birthday). Even though we were suppose to be spending quality catch up time together, she indulged me in a visit to Purl Soho to participate in this year’s 2nd Annual NYC Yarn Crawl. I didn’t go last since I didn’t feel comfortable toting my then 5 month old around NYC. But here I am… It wasn’t much of a crawl since we only visited Purl but it was all I needed.
For those of you unfamiliar with Purl Soho it is a very unique store and my idea of a little piece of heaven.
On one end….yarn….YUM!
On the other end…fabric…Oooh!
It’s my fantasy come to life. Knitting and quilting supplies in the same place….needless to say I was completely overwhelmed. Now I’ve been shopping at Purl for years but never had much interest in the fabric end of the business. And up until recently Purl was in two locations (next door to each other) but now all this wonderfulness is all in the same place. HEAVEN
I just love this place…
Simple and beautiful…the fabrics on this wall were amazing.
Thank God I don’t live any where near this place. I would be in serious trouble…or should I say more trouble than I’m already in….
