A warm welcome to all who enter here…

My name is Denise and I live to create.  Sounds a bit dramatic but it’s true.   My other passion is my family.  My husband Chris (who is a gift from above), Scooby and Chance (my sweet, loving and troublesome Bichons) and most important my darling daughter, Kira (born 5/6/09).  As many of you mothers out there know.  Life is never the same after look into eyes of your first born child. 

There was a time when I fortunate enough to have the rare opportunity to make a living doing what I loved to do.  I’ve  managed a yarn store, been a  massage therapist  and a labor support doula.  But since the birth of my daughter I’ve been doubly blessed by being able to stay home and raise her.  Being a SAHM is my Peace Corp…”the toughed job you’ll every love” and I do.   

Another huge blessing of being a SAHM is being able to explore new ways to create.  While knitting will always be where my heart lies I’ve now discovered the joys of sewing and quilting.  It has taken my creativity to a whole new level and to put  it simply…I’m having a great time!!!

My life is rich, wonderful and blessed and I’m happy to have this blog, this space to share myself with you.  I’m happy to be able to live in my own earthy tone of voice…
