Hey all who enter here…my name is Denise and I live to knit. I know that sounds a bit dramatic but it’s true. There are very few things I get as excited about except my husband (who is a gift from above), Scooby and Chance (my sweet, loving and troublesome Bichons), my best friend May, my sister Vern and my entire family…

I’m one of those people that get the rare opportunity to make a living doing what I love to do. I’m a knitter, a massage therapist and a doula. My life is rich, wonderful and blessed and I’m happy to have this blog, this space to share myself with you.

I’ve been knitting for about 8 years now and definitely favor the more traditional. It’s all about the process for me. I do love the finished product but most of the time I end up completing a project and putting it away, in a rush to get to the next thing. For example I knit socks but rarely wear them. I just love to watch them collect in my drawer. Strange I know but that’s the beauty of knitting and life…being able to do whatever you like.
