A little tribute to one of my favorite places…
What better way to say I love you then with needle and thread, literally! I can’t resist anything that relates in anyway to England! I’m a self proclaimed Anglophile and proud of it.
Here’s my first attempt at hand quilting since my class week before last.
The class was very good but it covered a lot of quilting basics that I already knew. I was the only person in the class who’d actually made a quilt. The hands on portion could have been much more detailed but I got it!!
I didn’t do more hand stitching then what’s above because I didn’t think this needle book really needed it. The Union Jack says it all. And speaking of my beloved England (If I believed in re-incarnation I would swear I lived there in a past life, how can you miss somewhere you’ve only been once?) I’ve started a Pinterest board, All Things England, so I can visit virtually if not in person whenever I get “homesick”.
