These won’t be included in the nominees goodie bags this Sunday at the Oscars but it’s the perfect, little goodie for the tea lover in your life.
Can you say cute? It took about an hour to make one of these (not including sewing on the button). I fell so in love that I got a bit swept away and couldn’t stop making them. Want to hear something funny? I had these finished more than a month ago it took me that long to sew the buttons on. I really hate sewing buttons. And these were tricky because I didn’t want the back to show, so I sewed them on the inside of the pocket.
Every time I thought that’s enough, I would think of one more person who would love one.
They are just so perfect for tea bags or anything for that matter. Business cards or even sewing notions…
Let’s say cute again shall we? And they are not bulky when closed…
The hardest part was sewing in the elastic. Again, sew very slowly…
I read a blog a while back by a woman who made quilted post cards. She was so addicted to making them and had sent them to everyone she knew that she started sending them to her blog readers. Just so she could keep making them!
Raise your hand if you want one!!! Or you can give it a go a yourself. Here’s the pattern…Have fun!
Have a great weekend everyone!!

Um, ME!!!!! I would like one, please!
My mom can’t drink caffeine anymore and I think this might be really useful for her. I am going to pin this pattern so she can see it. Very cute.
Me…me…me… I want one!!!!!! I think this is my favorite project that you’ve made. They are absolutely adorable! And the fabric….you and I have the same taste when it comes to fabric. The grey and white polka dots is simply charming!
I love these! So simple and cute and I am an organizational addict (love boxes, tins, bags, etc…. though my addiction doesn’t translate to a neater house, haha).
