72 hours, that’s how long it’s been since my last post and boy have some fun things been going on. Here’s a little weekend and early week update.
I decided not to wait until 50 Likes on ETG’s Facebook page but went with 45. Don’t want to be greedy…and in about 24 hours I got 7 new likes, bringing the numbers up to 44. WOW!! Now in the grand plan of life none of this is important but it makes me very happy and super motivated!
Now it’s only fair to show you what you could win. I promised either a skein of yarn or a fabric bundle (of some kind). I think you’ll like the choices.
Skinny Bugga in Tulip Tree Beauty (this skein is from Sanquine Gryphon)
Cape Ann Charm Pack (sorry about the bent corner. I have another pack and will send the “undamaged” one)
It takes one charm pack to make the quilt in my last post. (wink, wink) Here’s the pattern again in case you’re interested.
Good luck!!
Now on the update front. The backing fabric came in Hudson’s quilt. Hopefully I can get it sandwiched next weekend. Any quilting suggestions for this one?
And look what else just arrived!!
Oh the possibilities!! I debated and debated getting the fat quarter bundle but when the sales woman at the Fat Quarter Shop said they were only a few left. The choice was easy…I would have been a bit upset if I missed out on this one. These prints are so whimsical and fun and pretty!! Maybe that hexagon quilt for this bundle.
And I did get some sewing done. This is another quilt block I’ve always wanted to try but was even more motivated after seeing these.
Here’s the beginning of my first dresden plate.
I followed this tutorial and it’s amazing how the points all lined up. This was magic!!!!! (I’m so easily entertained)
Kira insisted on being part of this photo shoot!!! But you can still see how everything fit just perfectly!!!! Again….MAGIC!
Now to try some hexis and get to the post office!
Someone’s going to be waiting for their giveaway gift…

You make me want to go buy fabric and I don’t even sew! You find such cute stuff.
