Earthtones Girl

Have you ever stopped to realize just how much time we spend online.  Well I did and it was way to much so I unplugged for a while.  It was honestly, very liberating!!  It also gave me plenty of free time.  Here’s a look at one of the many things I got done.

I don’t want to say that my plan is at least one knitted project per month but so far it’s looking that way.

My absolute favorite thing in the world to knit.  SOCKS!!  There is such comfort in round after round of simple knit stitches.

And the color!! Perfect way to kick off this month of love!!

I used my tried and true pattern (which I promise to type in its entirty one day soon).

Slipped Stitch heel flap…I’m so hard on my socks (when I actually wear them)…

Nice roomy toe decreases…Gosh these are so nice and warm.  Perfect, considering how darn cold it is outside.

Happiness comes in many forms, for me it’s handmade socks!

Pattern:  Plain “Vanilla” Socks (pattern to come)

Yarn: Malabrigo Sock, colorway, Archangel

Needle: #1 (2 circ method)

I think I’ll be knitting another pair of sock during the Superbowl this weekend.  And even though I love the plain ones, I might throw in a simple little pattern.  God, knows I won’t actually be watching the game.  I might pause for commercials.  Isn’t that the real reason to watch.
