I wanted to send an email to each of you wonderful ladies who commented on our house and that TREE!!  But I thought this would be easier.  Every minute of the day has a purpose and time is limited.    Thank you all so much for your concern, comfort and love.  It really helped make a “trying” moment a bit easier.

Great news.  There was no structural damage to the house.  Thank God.  We were fortune beyond hope.  A few loose shingles but nothing serious.  The owner has already had the tree removed so that settles that.  We are still scheduled to close tomorrow and then…Home Ownership.  The next path to explore along the road.  

Kira is all better!!  100% back to normal.  I’m so relieved and the hideous rash I was bracing for looked no worse than a mild heat rash on her torso and a few pink spots on her face.  Done!

In the long hours while Kira slept and it rained and we waited to settle all the business there is to settle when buying a house.  (I can’t even begin to get over how much paperwork, phone calls, meetings, and MONEY is involved in this process)  I worked on these.  It’s my first time with Malabrigo sock yarn, (the color is Cordovan) and I LOVE IT!!  It certainly gives the sock yarns out there with cashmere a run for their money.  This stuff is yummy.  And the color… Just what my busy mind and restlessness needed to take the edge off.

The shaping on the foot was more than enough to make me feel better.  Is it me? Am I just delirious from worry and fatigue or does that foot actually look a bit sexy.  Can knitting be sexy?  Ok I think I’m really tired…Time for bed.
