Hi- thanks so much for your post- it's great to have these modifications! I have a clarification question about the short rows, I guesss I'm unclear by what you mean by side "seam". For the 3T size, is that basically, 32 stitches (half the circumference of one leg) from the beginning of the round marker? so the first short row (6 stitches from side seam) would be at stitch 26 (32-6)? (on the "front half" of the leg). And then on the other side, It would be 26 stitches from the "back center marker" (which would be on the "back half of the other leg). Is this right? It seems uneven, but maybe I'm just unclear about where the "side seam" starts. I would really appreciate a quick clarification on this. but thank you again for your post! I'm excited about these pants!

Hi, I am using your mods with these and knitting the 12-18m size too. Just a little confused with the leg instructions...
When you say: On the Leg: Follow directions up to last increase. On rnd 8 after the last increase begin the gusset as follows.
...did you work the last increase and then do seven more rows before starting your gusset, or did you do 2 of the three increases then start your gusset on what would have been the last increase row? I'm not sure if the second "last increase" refers to the previous increase or the last increase on the pattern. Clear as mud? lol
Thanks for your mods!

Was this for wear over a modern cloth nappy bum or flats? I am making the 2T stitch sizing using US6/4mm needles as it was just too loose for soaker using the recommended needles. My lad is only quite little for his 16mths age (wears 6-12mths clothes). I'm just wondering how you found the gusset fit when made up with 9 gusset stitches. Love your Kai-Mei socks too ;) Thanks Ronni
