Tomorrow by this time Chris and I will be smiling over our new born child.  Excited is not quite the word to cover what we are feeling right now.   This post would look like War And Peace if I tried to explain.  I’m sure you all get it.  And in case anyone is wondering about my psychic ability to predict the exact arrival, there is an explanation.  I won’t bore you with the details or open pandora’s box which could lead to a rant.  Suffice it to say I’ve had some medical complications over the years that have made a c-section the inevitable  method of arrival for this baby.  It is not my first choice but it is the safest for both of us.  I have done my homework to research this and feel satisfied and at peace with my decision.  I even took a moment to ” tell the baby” about it’s pending arrival.  In my heart….I believe all will be well.

Here’s the finished the ABCSJ which morphed into a summer suit/onesie (just needs the snap tape which my mum will sew in).  I’m so happy with how it came out considering my fingers have been swollen and numb for days and days.

This is  what my little one will be wearing home from the hospital.  There is a hat too which needs about 10 more rows but it’s already 9:15pm and I still have one or two more things to do before bed.  So I decided to post just the suit.    And since we will be coming home on Mother’s Day I thought something made by the new mum (ME!!) was a must.  I can’t wait to get pictures of it “in motion”.  I’ll get pictures up as soon as I can.
