First off, thank you all so much for the comments, suggestions, compliments and advise regarding my Marlene socks. I decided to stick with them and they are almost done. And as my reward for perseverance and loyalty to my favorite sock designer, look what I got!!!!
I almost feel guilty for having it already since the pub date is April 1, (according to Amazon). We stopped by Barnes and Noble on Sunday and there it was on the shelf. I couldn’t leave it even though I have one on order. I think it will make a nice present for someone dear to me…
Can you guess what I’ll be up to (at least part of the time). The patterns are some of the best I’ve ever seen. As you turn the pages they just keep getting better and better. And my gosh, the instruction in the beginning is breathtaking….funny description for a book but it’s true. Pure genius!! I’ve already read it, word for delicious word. This book will be well used. 15 ready-to-go patterns waiting for my needles, not to mention the endless possibilities for self design. And I probably won’t wear a single pair, LOL!

If you need to make a pair and can’t find feet for them, I can suggest a pair. And can I just say that it was wonderful to see you today! I’m sure gonna miss you when you don’t have to come to Tarrytown any more. You may not have noticed yet but the new Whimsies location is much more stroller friendly.
We got 5 copies in while I was out of town and they’ve all sold already! I didn’t even get to look at it.
