…the Oscars is usually overloaded with re-caps and who wore what, best dressed, worst dressed, etc…..So there is no need to do it here too. I will say that Hugh Jackman rocked. One of the best hosts in years (and hot doesn’t even cover it).
My track record for picking the winners is still right on target, Hurray for all. This was probably one of the best Oscar shows in years. Congratulations to Slumdog Millionaire!!!! I think it was good for everyone to see the “little guy” win.
And is it me or are we all so over the “above it all/holier than thou” attitude of the Angie and Brad. More Angie, Brad still trys to be gracious.
Ok, enough! That’s my Perez Hilton impression for the year.

I completely agree. Hugh Jackman was amazing. I loved it. Didn’t have the nasty snide comments that you’ve heard in the past at everybody’s expense. Although there were a few from some of the presenters.
Liked the new set up for presenting awards.
Thought it was one of the best in years.
I confess, I only made it through the first hour or so (early to bed, early to rise, blah, blah) But agree that it was a great show. I thought the multiple former winners speaking to the nominees was touching and classy. I was totally choked up when the screenwriter of MILK accepted. I was pulling for Penn, Winslet and Slumdog so was very happy when I got up the next morning to learn what I missed
Applause, applause.
