And I’m honored by any comparison to EZ, of course – so not worthy, but given that I improvised that hood in one go, just trying to think ahead about what my knitting was going to do and what tricks I could throw at it to get a good shape, maybe her spirit was with me! The foldover brim? It’s there because I realized at the very end that picking up stitches all the way to the front openings way going to give me a weird projecting brim and it might be annoying to the baby. So I threw in a quick buttonhole before it was too late. But it looks like a design feature, right? ;)

Again, so, so happy for you! Can’t wait to see a darling Earthtonesbaby in that sweater!
