How do you knit a sweater in Chinese? According to my friend Tina, who is from that beautiful place in the world, like this…
I AM KNITTING A SWEATER. Don’t ask me how that breaks down exactly. The literal translation is I KNIT WOOL CLOTHES. Well I am and here’s another progress shot as of 6:51pm yesterday.
Carolyn brought me sustenance. The food of champions (chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies) and so darn good, thank you so much Carolyn and kids.
Back to work…

Great progress so far on your sweater.
Why don’t I have anyone bringing me cookies??
Wow! You’re flying along! I’ve only gotten just over 6 inches done so far, but still have a couple of hours knitting hopefully to go tonight. I’ll admit to starting to feel a little nervous about getting it done in time. I’m only on ball 2. Day 1 was practically a no knitting day. I only got the swatches finished and the cast on done, and a few rows.
Hey, that would look cool on a sweater, in chinese, I Knit Wool Clothes.
Yum, and the sweater looks gorgeous. I have been on a knitting hiatus. Gearing up for a short triathlon next week. I need to focus on my Millicent’s soon and seeing your beautiful sweater is inspiring me to pick up the needles!
OMG! A baked product of mine is online! I just swooned…
You are an amazing, gold medal-worthy, knitter. I cannot wait to see this final product!
xoxo
I can’t wait to see the final product! I think I need cookies to nourish me in the Scarf Stroke…. hmmm…
Well, I recognize “I” and don’t know the rest! Although the “wool” looks like the character for sheep.
Onward!
