Well my holiday weekend couldn’t have gotten off to a better start then it did last night. Chris was out with friends, I watched the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy completely uninterrupted (and it was one of the best episodes they have ever done). Can I digress for a moment? I love that show! It is the only TV show I watch faithfully. American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, the entire range of reality shows, I don’t even give a second thought to but Grey’s…It’s the best. And if that admission leads anyone to believe that I am a total romantic sap then, ding, ding, ding…You’re absolutely right. Nothing moves me more than laughing and crying and celebrating when “boy gets girl”.
So where was I, back to my night. One of my dogs, Chance, who has major anxiety and trust issues brought me to tears. He’s very sensitive to me and my emotions, moods, etc and as I was watching Grey’s, laughing and crying he would wander into the living room to check on me. On one of his check ups he walked over to me, lay down, rolled onto his back and let me rub his tummy. It was such a pure and loving moment after almost a year and a half of work, devotion and training. I realized how worth it it all was. Having faith and patience, in my pet/s and in life, really does pay. Scooby is on the left and Chance is on the right…can you say cute?
And the icing on my cake…a sock pattern that has been kicking my butt for the last 5 months was finally conquered. I got it! I freaking got it! And it’s beautiful. I can’t wait to show you. Now the funny part is, in my frustration of trying to figure that pattern out I started another sock pattern. So that’s now two pairs going at once. One top down and one toe up…I’m having a ball!!! Here’s a little tease.
My plan for the weekend..work on my socks, finish my neglected pullover, spend time with my hubby and pups, enjoy the weather and relax…
Have a great weekend everyone.

I agree! Grey’s Anatomy was excellent this week. It is my favorite show on TV too. Often finale’s don’t live up to expectations, but this week was perfect.
The boys look beautiful!
Have a wonderful weekend.
What little sweethearts!
I’m not spinning, or knitting either. I’m planting a garden. Knitting and spinning are certainly easier on the back!
What a great way to start the weekend! And the socks….so much I want to see next week! Enjoy these gorgeous, sunny, warm days!
