Some of you may have noticed the new banner I put up several days ago. I like to change it from time to time (keep things fresh and interesting) but I might leave this one up for a while. It is the hem from the Hand to Hand pullover I made last summer.
I would love to have had the entire hem (Earthtonesgirl 07) in the banner but it just wouldn’t fit. Maybe I’ll knit a smaller version of the letters to use as the banner so you can see my entire name. In the meantime I’m happy with the way it looks. Thanks for noticing Maritza.
There are a few other house keeping things to check out. I’ve updated my Projects 2008 page. Don’t you just love to watch your projects “adding up”. Salto and Mingus have been added and there’s plenty more to come.
And you may have also noticed that my cyber home is about to the celebrate it’s 1st anniversary or blogoversary. I’m very proud and very excited. And in honor of the occasion I’m giving away a few goodies. I was talking to my friend Carolyn the other day about maybe running a contest and we both thought it was a good idea. I was thinking about a riddle. If one of my readers can solve the riddle they will get one or two of the gifts below. I tried the riddle I have in mind on my hubby who got it almost immediately. He said he’d heard it before and he was sure others probably would have too. So he said why don’t I just randomly choose from those who leave a comment between today and June 1st. How about both?

Its a human – 4 in the morning is a baby, 2 as an ambulatory adult, 3 as an adult with a cane! You’re right – that’s a great riddle which I read in a book when I was a child and its stuck with me all these years!

I love the banner. I think it looks great as is, but a smaller one with the full earthtonesgirl logo on it would look great also!
