I was so excited to worked on these but to be honest…I knit about 4 inches, ripped them out and gave the yarn away to my friend Julie. I love Lorna’s Laces to pieces but I absolutely could not stand the way the yarn was stripping. Not to mention the colors…They were muddy stripes…YUK!!
Sorry I don’t have a picture but I happened to run into Julie, pulled the sock out of my bag, off the needles, ripped and handed both skeins to her. She was a bit stunned but happy…
Happy Knitting Julie. See you soon.

You’re such a giver! Julie is lucky to have a friend like you.
I am lucky!
I am thinking that I would do a slip stich pattern to break up the striping a little. However that’s not going to happen too soon as I am trying to stay committed to these long-time-ago-begun Pomatomus. Beautiful in blue Trekking, but not a mindless knit.
Thanks, Denise!
Julie
Ah, timing is everything! If I had seen you first, would I have gotten the yarn? ( :
Speaking of seeing you, are we still on for Fri? Hope so!
Your lurker friend,
Carolyn
