Earthtones Girl

Look what arrived in the mail on Monday, the rest of the Nature Wool Chunky.  Aran coat here I come, that’s what my heart and fingers are saying.  But actually I haven’t touched it in about 3 days.  It’s killing me.  I have all the yarn and then some but I just can’t get 2 consecutive minutes to work on it.   I’m going to try really hard this weekend to make some progress.  I could really use the escape of this project right now.  I do have 2 other projects on needles but they’re portable quickies…I just want to get lost in cables.

Here is my other escape, the one that doesn’t require nearly as much attention and time but yet fills my time and keeps me from running into traffic at moments of intense frustration.  Now of course there is music on it but the best part is this…my current selection…I Am Legend.  I’m loving every word.  And if you planned to see the movie…save yourself the ticket price and buy the book (actual or audible).

So if you’ve put 2 and 2 together you know I’m listening as I knit…where does the time go and where can I find some more of it.
