All I did was provide the bowl…a very talented knitter I know did all the work. Sweet and funny and a bit pointless but why not…this is what I call and “Everest Project”. Why do people climb Mt. Everest…because it’s there, because they can or believe they can. Why would anyone knit something like this…because they can. This was also a gift for this very talented friend. See ya Sunday!!
Just touching base and letting everyone know what’s up for the weekend.
I’ll be hanging out here tomorrow morning and I can’t wait…Hope to see some of you there. Then my sister (who I miss and haven’t spent nearly enough time with) and I will be off to the movies to see Into The Wild. I know it will be a beautiful day and a shame to be inside but we’re both dying to see this film…and yes we read the book…
Last night Chris and I had “Girlfriend Night” and watched Grey’s Anatomy!!!! Once again this series never fails to entertain and get the emotional juices flowing. As always by 10:01pm I’m in tears and Chris is cursing that we have to wait a whole week for the next episode.
I spent the morning finishing up book 6 of Harry Potter and again the tears were flowing!!!!! For those who have not read the books, I won’t spoil things but how can that have happened!!!! I’m dumbstruck and angry and hurt and yet so touched and moved by this story…am I nuts or just late for the boat and this is what everyone has been talking about….this story is magic (corny I know but who cares).
As I was listening to dear old Jim…I was also taking lots of pictures and getting ready for my October blog posts…you’ll see!!! I was taking pics of my sock yarn collection and excluding the Koigu collection(which I didn’t even both to count) I have 50, yes 50, one more time 50 skeins of various sock yarns. And of course if I walked into a yarn shop tomorrow (after the Spin Out) which I might since there is a sale here, I would buy more sock yarn…can you say disease boys and girls….
Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Dude, you are gonna have great weather for Spin Out. I wish I didn’t have to work because I would just love to see it. And 50 is a nice round number, Congrats! Sorry about Dumbledore. A friend and I talked about it for over a year but I can’t share till you are done. I am a happy fruit salad freak!
I finished book 6 in O’Hare on my way home from knitting camp. I was trying so hard not to cry right in the middle of the airport but I did.
That banana is just too cute! I’m in book six of Harry Potter now too, I wanted to reread them all before I start 7 but it’s taking me forever!
