I got the WG #67 in the mail two days ago along with a copy of the Reader’s Digest Knitter’s Handbook (did anyone notice there are about 50 ways to cast on in that book, that’s a topic for another day). Much to my disappointment there is no pattern for a child’s version. There is a picture of the Norwegian Rose being modeled by Ceci but no pattern. Now I’m not sure I’m going to tackle this one anytime soon. I’m sure I can figure out how to adjust the pattern but that’s to much thinking for me right now. And there are just to many other things I’m working on right now. I still have the yarn so maybe…we’ll see.
Damn, it is a goregous sweater!

I have a copy of the charts for the rose pattern. It was a free download from Schoolhouse way back when. Let me dig it out and email it to you. Or, email Schoolhouse- I am sure they would send it to you.

(You probably don’t remember me from Camp 1 — I had the gigantic handspun pi shawl.) The Norwegian Rose sweater is in the ‘Art of the Sweater’ booklet from Land’s End — only found on eBay now and the child’s version used to be on the SHP site but isn’t there now. I’d guess that child’s versions of the Norwegian Rose and the WG#67 Giant Latvian Mitten Sweater might be gotten from Meg herself rather than from SHP proper. Glad you enjoyed Camp 2 — I went last year and enjoyed it. 2.75 was this year for me and it was Fantastic!
