Excitement doesn’t even cover how I felt yesterday morning when I woke up and got ready to head to the airport. But very soon excitement turned to annoyance as my flight was delayed. Ok fine, I can deal with this I’m a knitter, when extra time presents itself what does a knitter do, KNIT!!! So anyway…we’re now on board and headed to Chicago…YAHOO!!!
Then suddenly, good feeling’s gone…my flight from Chicago to Wausau was CANCELLED, YES I SAID CANCELLED…so instead of losing my cool I call my unbelieveably wonderful, loving husband who of course devises the perfect plan to get me to camp. Yes, it was done out of love but he also didn’t want to deal with his wife’s descent into the 10th level of madness.
I’ll spare you all the gory details but suffice it to say after 5 hours of driving I finally arrived in Marshfield, tired, exhausted but intake and still excited to be at camp. I also met this lovely woman who shared the car ride and the whole experience with me…I was grateful for the company and support. Thank you Janice.
Yes, my t-shirt says anarchist knitter…cool huh!!!

Where on earth did you get that tshirt?!?
Love,
Lysa
