The moment I saw this pattern it was the answer to my knee hi pattern prayers. It also realized a fantasy I’ve had for some time now. For all you Red Tent fans. I feel I’ll be ready for the bricks if I’m wearing these…maybe more information then I should put out there but humor me, I’ve got babies on the brain today.
Look at the calf shaping…
Aren’t they beautiful!!!! I loved every stitch…these will be made over and over again I’m sure.
Pattern: Millicent
Source: Cookie A
Yarn: Mountain Colors, Bearfoot
Color: Rosehip
Amount: 2 Skeins of 350 yds each. There was alot left over from each skein but I knew I was going to need more than one…I’ll make a hat or something with the rest.
Needles: Addi #1 24″, 2 circular method of course
Modifications: I decided not to include the lace cuff…it was a bit to much for me…I love the simplicity of the the leg and rest of the pattern. Clean and simple…suits me perfectly. Everything else I followed to the letter.

Hi again! Wow, I love the knee highs - everything from the color (you’re getting a little crazy on me with the red), to the pattern, to that cool design that goes from the big toe over the top of the foot. Nice! Once again, the pictures came out great. I just wish I could see a head on the top of that torso, but I understand you want to remain “anonymous.” I’ve been scrapping like a fiend the past few days and LOVING it. Miss you!!!!
